"Like everyone I know, if you live in California, all of your insurances have gone up in price. I’ve been with Carlos’ agency since the early 2000 and at time checked to see if my rates were competitive. I felt I needed to do this for my renewals this year due to the level of increase. I did receive a competitive quote and went back to State Farm to do an apples to apples comparison. After we made some adjustments to make all things equal, my State Farm rate was identical to the alternate provider. The alternate provider was referred to me by a friend who had found a tremendous difference from what he had been paying to the new quote. That wasn’t my experience.
